EBACE 2006 - Airsider Show
Report
Once a year, the business
aviation industry meets in Geneva for the European Business
Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) exhibiton. An
Airsider Show Report by Michael Meier.
Increasingly, business aviation has come to
be recognized in Europe and elsewhere as a necessary tool for conducting
business in today's busy world. Across the globe, there is a growing
understanding of the value that business aviation brings to businesses
through improved employee productivity and efficiency and increased
access to new markets.
Companies are becoming always more sophisticated
in their pursuit of the competitive advantages attained through
the use of business aircraft. Businesses continue to become more
adept at utilizing their aircraft for employee travel to sell and
market, to provide customer service, to extend management control
and to improve investor relations, among other reasons.
These trends, in a nutshell, explain the increasing
prominence of the annual European Business Aviation Convention &
Exhibition (EBACE).

EBACE is a premier event and the annual
meeting place for the European business aviation community. The
exhibition brings together business leaders, government officials,
manufacturers, corporate aviation department personnel and all manner
of people involved in nearly every aspect of business aviation.
New business aircraft firms, avionics firms, handling organizations,
fractional providers, charter/lease companies and previously titled
aircraft resellers display their wares.
